TRAAKK

Privacy

Last updated 24 October 2026

In short: your rides and settings stay on your phone. TRAAKK has no accounts, no ads and no tracking, and never sells or shares your data. The only things that leave your phone are the rides you send to Strava and, if you allow it, an anonymous note about each ride that helps us improve the workouts.

What stays on your phone

TRAAKK has no user accounts and keeps no copy of these on any server. Deleting the app deletes them.

Bluetooth

TRAAKK connects to your smart trainer and heart-rate strap to read power, cadence and heart rate and to set the trainer's resistance. These readings are used during the ride and saved with the ride on your phone.

Strava

If you connect Strava, TRAAKK uploads your finished rides to your Strava account and marks them as Virtual Rides. TRAAKK only uploads. It does not read your Strava activities, followers or profile. The sign-in key stays on your phone. A small helper on our server holds TRAAKK's own Strava app secret and passes your upload to Strava without storing it. You can disconnect at any time in the app or in your Strava settings.

Anonymous ride stats

When a ride ends, TRAAKK can send one short, anonymous note so we can see which workouts people ride and finish. It contains:

It contains no name, no account, no location, no heart rate, no device ID and nothing that links rides to a person. You can turn it off in the app: Me → Share anonymous ride stats.

Feedback in test versions

Test versions of TRAAKK may ask how a ride was (Nah, OK or Fun), whether you would ride again, with a few tags and an optional comment. It is sent only when you tap it, together with which workout you rode and for how long. It contains no name or account. Please don't write personal details in the comment unless you want us to contact you.

In test versions, if you connect Strava, your Strava first and last name, city and country are shared with the TRAAKK team so we know who is testing. The app says this next to the Connect button. Release versions don't do this.

Photos

TRAAKK only adds pictures to your photo library when you tap Save to Photos, and asks your permission the first time. It never reads your photos.

Where it runs

The Strava helper and the anonymous stats run on Netlify, a web hosting service. Netlify may keep short technical logs, such as IP addresses, to run and protect the service.

Children

TRAAKK is made for adults training on their own bikes and does not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be on this page with a new date.
